In Events!, Music on February 20, 2011 at 4:49 am

I couldn’t help but notice that this year some pretty amazing artists on tour. After hearing about so many I narrowed it down to five artists that everyone must see in concert this year if the universe allows it.

First up is Katy Perry. In 2009 she had her first international tour, Hello Katy, that covered Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. This time around she’s doing another worldwide tour called The California Dreams Tour ! The tour kicks of on the 20th of February in Portugal, going all the way to the 8th of November in Dublin ! Check out her website for official tour dates

Needless to say Lady Gaga is having quite  run in her career. With many awards under her belt its hard to believe that she’s been on tour non stop since November 2009. The Monster Ball Tour serves as the second part to the Fame Ball Tour. With a plethora of impressive opening acts like Jason Derulo, Far East Movement, Kid Cudi, and more this is guaranteed to be to be a show you  wouldn’t want to miss. The tour picks up in Atlantic City on the 19th of February and ends on the 6th of May in Mexico city. Check out her official website for more details.

This is Sade’s first tour in ten years. If you’re a true fan of Solider of Love which stayed number 1 on the charts for three weeks, you want to be there. Not to mention that for the last half of the tour John Legend will be attendance ! The tour kicks off in France on the 29th of April, and ends in California on the 30th of August. Check out Sade’s official website for more dates & details.

Number Ones Up Close & Personal is Ms. Jackson’s largest world tour by far. Janet is hitting 35 cities in honor of her 35 number one hits. There will be a song dedicated to each city, and one person from each city will receive a free copy of her CD Number Ones. Visit her website for more info, and click this LINK to pre order tickets, and VIP Packages for the March, and April shows. The tour got an early start on the 4th of February in the Philippines, and ends on the 9th of July in Monaco.

How could the touring KINGS U2 not be number 1. The 360 Tour started in 2009 in Europe. The fifth leg of the 360 Tour started on the 13th of February in Johannesburg, South Africa, and the seventh and final leg of the tour ends on the 3rd of July in Canada. Visit the U2 website for further information & take the poll below !
